In case you haven’t heard, I’m off to London for a photography workshop. I used to do these trips every year or so, but that was BC – the last one was to Havana in 2019, more than six years ago. London should be a different experience lol.

Right now I’m in the American Airlines lounge. They don’t start boarding for an hour and a half, so I have some time to relax and have a snack. The trip down was great; no traffic, because I left at 6:00 am and it’s July 4th. I was through security in about six minutes after getting out of the Uber. So I guess whatever holiday travel congestion will happen, hasn’t happened yet.

I’m on the plane now, in my seat, getting physically and mentally prepared for departure. Which hopefully will be on time; as it is, we’re not scheduled to arrive until 9:30pm tonight London time. Which means I won’t be in my hotel before 11:00.
